"Dr. Crego was rough, did not prioritize my pain (i.e., when drilling for a filling, I asked him to stop and said that I was still in pain. He aggressively put the drill back into my mouth and kept drilling. It took me waving my hands and trying to sit up to get him to stop), and treated me like I didn't have a voice. This was one of the most bizarre interactions I have ever had with a professional. His tone when speaking to me was aggressive & condescending (i.e., he asked me, have you ever heard of a root canal before?). I am embarrassed to admit that I shed a few tears because as a 40-year old woman, I have never been treated like this before & was unsure how to respond. At one point when he left the room, his hygienist could tell that I was upset, & went on to tell me this is how men communicate sometimes. This was a horrible experience and I will never go back, which is unfortunate because my husband and I have seen Dr. Russell for years and she is great."
