Dr. Anderson has extensive experience in cardiovascular care, including fellowship training in heart and lung transplantation. His clinical interests include the surgical management of heart failure and mechanical circulatory support, minimally invasive and robotic heart surgery as well as heart valve replacement and repair.
As a leading expert in mitral valve repair and replacements, Dr. Anderson is one of the highest volume mitral valve surgeons in the country where 95 percent of these surgeries use minimally invasive incisions, shortening two-month recoveries to just a few weeks.
