"Dr Wheeler being the only pediatric neurologist in the state has been my daughter's neurologist for about 9 years now. In the beginning he was amazing he had great bedside manor and actually cared how she was doing made sure he got an mri because she has a condition that was first noted in utero, and seen on mri when she was 9m old. Other drs here kept saying her symptoms didn't come from that. Well they did because he sent her to see Seattle children's neurosurgery and she needed surgery immediately. After a few years she was doing better, neurosurgery had warned us at puberty this could start causing issues again. When it did we saw Dr Wheeler again and he for a few years now continues to call the issues psychological and hasn't ordered a follow up mri. He finally ordered one but not the complete kind she has had before and didn't note that we were looking at what she has had since before birth. And on visit notes he continues to call it psychological/anxiety my daughter is older now ...
and very good at telling me the difference between a headache caused by anxiety and what is going on now. Montana needs to have more than one pediatric neurologist so parents can easily get a second opinion. "

"wow from setting up an appointment the staff is rude and you cant ask questions. After all, i know nothing and they know everything. I should have realized that! Just come in and let us tell you what is wrong with your son. dont ask questions, just accept everything we tell you. This from a doctor with such a low rating on all sites? "
