"- [ ] I came from another state down to Florida to help my 9 year old nephew that will soon be under my care. He was raised neglectful, is overweight and shows signs of Autism. His Father passed from a drug overdose and Mother incarcerated. My husband's side of the family. Very rough time for myself and family. I immediately wanted to seek medical care to learn about my nephew's health issues so we can address them quickly. I had to take my bio kids with me as well as my husband's Aunt because she has a POA and mine didn't come in the mail yet. First thing Dr. Berger said to my bio children upon entry was to fix their mask. I let that slide. We got started with my nephews check up. Nurses checked his eyesight, hearing, blood pressure. They were all not so good, especially his blood pressure was so high it terrified me. Once we saw Dr. Berger we explained the situation my nephew is in and how badly we want to help him. Dr. Berger was super knowledgeable, sharing a lot of what my nephew ...
desperately needs however periodically he would completely stop during my nephews evaluation to tell my kids and myself to fix our masks. This occurred just about every other minute. I tried to hide my children behind me so he wouldn't look at them but he would lean over just to see if they have it on right and tell them again to put their mask on properly. I asked him to leave them alone and to continue with my nephews check up but he REFUSED to do so unless my kids wear their mask right. Then he told me to fix my mask. I pleaded with him to continue but he still refused again unless I fixed my mask then he offered me another mask. I lost it. Ripped my mask off, shouted at him, told him that we are not there for Co vid but to help my nephew and stressed to him how much he has been through. He told me to leave and that only my nephew and Aunt stays. I told him we are all leaving. As I walked passed him out the room he shut the door on me leaving my Aunt and nephew inside. I banged on the door to let them out. He let them out and then we left. This Dr. denied service to me unless I did what I was told. No empathy, terrible bedside manner. He's just a government paid a**hole more interested in virtue signaling then providing information for a child in serious need. "
