"I had seen Dr. Diaz back in 2021. Back in October I had some concerning symptoms and called to make an appointment but there was no availability until February. I made the appointment. In the meantime I found another neurologist to order some testing because I was afraid I had something that could be time sensitive and didn't want to wait 4 months + insurance processing for imaging. Today, one day before the appointment, the office called and said that Dr. Diaz saw that I saw another neurologist and cancelled the appointment and suggested I followed up with that neurologist. I explained I was afraid of my symptoms and that's why I had the imaging before the 4 months and that I still wanted him to see the imaging but his office just kept repeating go to the other neurologist. I asked over and over again, so I can never see him again? and the woman who called me ignored the question and just kept repeating to follow up with the other neurologist. I asked again and she said she didn't know and I asked when I can I call to find out and she said she didn't know I said ok I'll call back tomorrow and she said ok have a good day and ended the call. Better make sure whatever you want to be seen for follows his schedule and is not time-sensitive and can wait months and know you can be dropped at their whim and I would guess based on this he's not a fan of second opinions (which I wasn't even getting, I just wanted imaging to make it wasn't something that was going to do something before the four months were up)."
