"Dr. Ladia should lose her medical license due to malpractice. She has not been in person in her office since the original Covid shut downs >2.5 yrs ago. She has my teenage daughter, now 18 on Black Box medications and fails to monitor her. She has not seen her in person in years and insists on video chat appointments. She has NEVER ordered bloodwork on my daughter to monitor any side effects from the Black Box medications. I had to get blood work ordered from her pediatrician. She will only provide 1 refill at a time which forces us to have to schedule video visits every other month. This is an insurance scheme to continuously bill / over bill for patient “oversight”. Every time we have a video visit she asks the same questions over and over again as if she is meeting my daughter for the first time. She increased the dose of her medication and then makes us jump through hoops to obtain refills. These are dangerous medications and she is not properly monitoring my daughter. Even though ...
my daughter is 18, she does not manage her own healthcare; I do. I typically am on the video chats with my daughter and when I called yesterday to obtain refills, they insist they need my daughters consent. Her consent has been given 3 years ago and many times since then. They are trying to force her to create a portal account of which we are opposed to. Documentation of her consent has been lost because we don’t have a portal Acct, or perhaps it’s because the office is being run remotely. This is the worst patient care I have ever experienced and I am a medical professional myself. She is a dangerous doctor playing with the lives of children. I will be reporting her to the CA Medical Board. The staff that answers the phone are equally terrible. I am not asking for much, just attempting to keep my child from running out of her medication as it is dangerous to stop without a gradual cessation plan. Dr. Ladia needs to be held to account. "

"Terrible doctor, worst mental health appointment ever. DO NOT take your children to her!! Grossly incompetent, unprofessional, refused to help us, hung up on us, spoke unkindly to my daughter, the patient. If I could give zero stars I would. "
