Dr. Lloyd S. Miller, M.D., Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor and basic science research investigator at the Division of Dermatology at UCLA. Dr. Miller earned his B.A. at the Johns Hopkins University and his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees were earned at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. He has recently completed his post-doctoral fellowship in the UCLA STAR Program in the laboratory of Dr. Robert L. Modlin, M.D., and he has stayed on faculty in the Division of Dermatology. Dr. Miller has been awarded an NIH Mentored Clinical Scientist Investigator award to continue his research on mechanisms of cutaneous host defense against bacterial pathogens.
