Ling Xu, D.D.S., Ph.D.
Dr. Ling Xu received both of her DDS and PhD (in Oral Biology & Pathology) degrees from School of Dental Medicine State University of New York at Stony Brook (in 1995 and 1992). After Stony Brook, she completed one year of general dentistry residence training in New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens at Cornell University Medical School. Three years after that in 1999, she finished her prosthdontics training and became highly specialized in restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry. Upon the completion of her training, she became a full-time prosthodontic faculty member in Stony Brook Dental School, and maintained her research work and part-time private practice until the fall of 2009. During the ten years as faculty member, she conducted numerous research projects resulting in the publishing of numerous scientific abstracts and papers. Dr. Xu is a reviewer for the Journal of Prosthodontics. In Nov. 2005, Dr. Xu passed the board exam held by the American College of Prosthodontics earning Diplomate status— the highest achievement in the field. Currently, she is one of two board certified prosthodontists in the town of Cary.

"I went there only because she's within my network. She did so many tests that were not needed and billed me and my insurance so she got $200 extra from me!!! I found out by coincidence few weeks later and requested a refund. It took few months to get the money back! If I did not do some research she would have taken that money.
