"Leslie Smith is highly knowledgeable and knows exactly which tests to run based upon various issues. She is direct and for some, that doesn’t work. I prefer directness in a doctor and I felt she was just as reassuring as she was honest. "

"You will receive substandard medical help in this practice. She is unhelpful and goes beyond your back when she refers you to other doctors. The other patient was so correct when she said, "there is no compassion in this practice.""

"It is ironic this practice is called compassionate Care because the type of care you receive is far from compassionate. The doctor, Leslie Smith, travels frequently and while she is gone, patients are left with NO CARE and the only option if you have an issue is to go to the emergency room. Her staff is un-empowered and ill-equipped to respond to questions or issues while the doctor is away. They say you have to wait until she comes back. In the past month I have been with this practice, Dr Smith has traveled twice for days at a time. I've needed medical assistance both times and she was not available to answer any questions, I even asked for a televisit and she said “No”. When she is in her office and you go for an appointment, her bedside manner is lacking. My husband went to her as well and also was dissatisfied after his appointment. Quite frankly, this practice does not fit in with the warm caring culture of this area in the High Country. If you are looking for compassionate health ...
