Dr. Lucchina received her B.A. in mathematics and M.D. degrees from the University of Vermont where she graduated cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Lucchina completed her residency in Dermatology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Lucchina completed a clinical and research fellowship in Dermatologic Laser Surgery at The Wellman Laboratories of Photomedicine and The Massachusetts General Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Lucchina did a clinical fellowship at the Dermatology Clinical Investigations Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital and a Dermatology research fellowship at the Wellman Laboratories of Photomedicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Lucchina is the founding director of the Aesthetic Dermatology Program at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Lucchina is board certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology …with her initial examination in 1997 and recertification in 2007. Dr. Lucchina was also board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1992. For more than ten years, the foundation of Dr. Lucchinas practice has been providing comprehensive skin care including general dermatology, advanced laser and non-surgical skin rejuvenation.

"I felt that this clinic was an operation. I'd like to see her practice be reviewed and monitored by authorities. Her secretary was very rude and Leslie Lucchina simply did not care or listen. After asking a few routine questions she responded to my serious concern by "I don't know". I asked her to at least remove a moll and she wanted to charge me $350 in addition to charging my insurance. After calling her out on it, she said "ok pay half". Her argument was that "you came to my beautiful office". The 2 stars go to the location of her office. "

"I initially visited Dr. Lucchina years ago for treatment of my occasional acne and my very challenging (resistant to treatment) melasma. She cleared up both quickly and efficiently. I continue to visit her for aesthetic skincare maintenance; during one visit she noted a skin cancer which was biopsied and removed painlessly in her office without scarring or discomfort. I never feel rushed during appointments and feel that she is familiar with both my treatment and medical history. Her office staff has always been warm, friendly, polite and efficient. "

"The very worst derm I have ever visited. I went to her office a total of 5 times and she was unwilling to provide me a decent care. She forgot of things she had prescribe me and each of her appointment lasted 5 min. HORRIBLE. I would rate 0 starts if I could. "
