"I had a tooth that was painful and needed to be pulled. I recently just moved OIB and didn't have dentist yet. Wouldn't take me right away. Then calked with a cancelation and I took it. Never got tooth pulled BUT was x-rayed and cleaned for $300+. I had made appt for those procedures already. It wasn't like I wasn't going to become a permanent patient. Yes, she is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!. Called Sunset Denistry and took me right in sane day. "

"The Dentist and assistants professionally handle multiple processes: including a cracked tooth, and taking care of a cavity. The major work was replacement for 2 older teeth, and temporaries were done. I was very pleased with this practice Jim Faulkner

"This was my first visit to Ocean Isle Family Dentistry in 2020. They are doing an amazing job of taking all the proper precautions for current Covid issues. As has always been my experience, they made sure I was comfortable and were friendly, professional and efficient. You can tell they really care about their patients.

"Everyone there could not be any nicer. When you call in they know exactly who you are and sound happy to hear from you. You have the sense from the front desk right up to Dr. Douna that they genuinely care about you as a person. And she is a fantastic dentist. Very knowledgeable and skillful. I trust her implicitly. I recommend this dentist and her staff without reservaton.

"Had my initial visit yesterday with Dr Laura. Her staff is extremely kind and keeps you informed as to exactly what they are doing and why. Thank you Ashley. Dr Laura was extremely knowledgeable and her treatment was pain free. She explained her findings of my exam and her suggested treatment plan. The dentist is probably my “least favorite “ thing to do but today’s experience was great. Thank you Dr Laura and staff.

"I found Ocean Isle Family Dentistry about 2 years ago. Dr. Laura, her hygienist team, and office staff are outstanding in every way. Professionalism, courteous and welcoming, attentive to comfort and very thorough cleanings and dental procedures. Today’s visit was for cleaning. Extra precautions were taken due to COVID-19 but honestly I would have been completely confident of safety even without added precautions.

"I would definitely recommend Dr. Laura and her staff. I had a cleaning appointment this morning, the first since Covid. The staff took all precautions for a safe visit, i.e., questions regarding exposure, fever, cough, etc., took my temp, and had me disinfect my hands. In addition, they wore double ppe. I felt very safe and not rushed. Dr. Laura and her staff have always been friendly and gentle and this was evident today even with all the additional "rules" that need to be adhered to. Thank you, Dr. Laura and staff.

"Dr. Laura is probably one of the very best Dentists that my wife and I have experienced in our respective lifetimes. And that's many years, 68 to be exact. She is a very caring and sensitive professional who makes you feel very comfortable in her care. The office is modern and bright with all the new technology and equipment. The staff are excellent. It's always a pleasure to go for our semi annual cleanings. The hygienists are very good at what they do. We would recommend Dr. Laura to anyone seeking a high quality dental experience.
