"In the office there was a sign that said skin tag removals were not covered by insurances and that we would be charged. I wanted her opinion on a skin tag I had and she offered to remove it. I pointed to the sign and said I didn't want to do it if I was going to be charged. She said I fulfilled certain criteria where this wouldn't be considered a skin tag removal, and I wouldn't be billed. I wanted to be certain, and asked more than once if she was sure, and only agreed because of what she assured me. The previous times I've had a removal, the doctor sanitized the area; I thought it odd that she didn't. She also placed the bandaid flush against the skin which caused chaffing; my previous doctors always made a point to leave it raised. Later, I get a surprise bill. When I ask about it, it's "my fault" for misunderstanding her, that she never makes these assurances when it comes to health coverages. She lied. I don't trust her. Neither should you. I'm not seeing her again. "
