"Dr. Browns has taken horrendous care of my mother. My mother went to her with very real scary symptoms. Not only did Dr. Brown have no answers she, after more than a week has not completed a referral for my mother. My mom has called nearly everyday asking for more support/ any support, she has not received a call back. Shameful practice! "

"I trust Dr. Brown with my overall health. She has listened and taken my health conditions seriously during every visit. She suggested I see a specialist, who then quickly took necessary steps to resolve and cure a previous undiagnosed ailment. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Kristen Brown to my friends. "

"Dr. Brown had consistantly talked down to my 73 year old mother as if she was a child. She was always very short with her. Her nurse had the same poor bedside manner. My mom had found something she thought needed to be checked out. Dr. Brown laughed it off and hurried my mom out of the room. I later had to take my mom to the E.R. thank God they found the problem. 3 days later Dr. Brown chewed my mom out for going to the E.R. and NOT back to her. After that, everyone in the office iced my mom out *they were being cold to her. She requested her records and said she was leaving them and they totally treated her as if she was not even a human being. This staff and physician is not where you want to put your trust in. "

"Do not go to Dr. Kristin Brown if you have any type of mental health issue. Her and her staff are rude and unprofessional and will put your health at risk. The first time I went to her a few years ago, she changed my medication without talking to me about it. Just changed it. And it made me sick. I gave her another chance. Then her nurse aid was so rude to me on the phone that I called her out. She apologized, but that was not the last or worst time. Most recently, during the height of this pandemic, her nurse (same one) was rude to me and demanded I submit to a full physical including a pap smear in order to fill my medication for anxiety. Over a couple of days, I kept saying no I don’t consent to a physical of any sort. I did not want to be around people during the height of COVID and they insisted. Even when I said I was trying to protect my 62 year old mother. I insisted on talking to Dr. Brown. Instead of a telehealth, they made me go into the office. Where Dr. Brown and I had an ...
hour long conversation and she said she was not prepared to handle anyone with any mental issues, including anxiety of any sort. I was describing my panic attacks and she said she was not trained enough to handle it. I expressed how I felt absolutely violated of my physical self with the threat of withholding my medication if I did not submit to a pap. Dead serious. What kind of doctor allows their staff to treat patients that way? Dr. Brown, that’s who. I did not consent to a pap no matter how much they insisted, since that is not what I was there for. I did go in person, despite being at the peak of COVID in Colorado (April 2020). I had to voice record our interaction because I did not trust her, but I needed my medication that she was holding hostage. I recorded it in case this nightmare of an interaction resulted in a legal repercussion. You should never feel the need to record your doctor. This is not a doctor to go to if you have anything other than a cold and need an antibiotic. Her staff is rude and does not have your safety and health as a top priority. Dr. Brown literally told me that she is not trained to help people who have mental health issues. She is not a prepared doctor and could put your life in jeopardy with these dangerous tactics. She needs better training. She’s a malpractice lawsuit waiting to happen. Dr. Brown and I decided to cut ties on our relationship. Which was fine by me, I didn’t trust her one bit. This was the last time after giving her staff a few chances. There are better doctors in our area by the way. I found one immediately. I’ve never had a problem with a doctor before. Do not go here. There are much better options. "

"1 star is too much and would give 0 stars if I could. Dr. Brown is a bloody idiot for absolutely refusing me the necessary bloodwork I needed to have done prior to my upcoming surgery merely because I am young and “can’t possibly” have any underlying health conditions. In her words, “A 25 year old does not need this garbage taken.” Any doctor who chooses to make stupid and unfounded assumptions and refuse advise of colleagues is a disgrace to the profession. I do not trust her and will never see her again!!! I recommend that you stay far away from this woman! Dr. Brown would be better suited working as a store clerk."

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
