OVERVIEW

I have always been told I am a good listener, and I enjoy helping people, so it was a natural choice to go into the medical field. My approach to care is I try to pay attention to the "whole person" because often what is going on in someone's personal life affects their medical conditions. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two cats and dog; traveling to new places; shopping; and watching Pittsburgh sports teams.

"Dr. Kim is one of the few great doctors left. Some people think that a P.A. is not as qualified as an MD but with Dr. Kim I beg to differ. I have been a patient for over 10 years and although I'm not a fan of going to the doctor she makes going worth while. I really love Dr Kim...maybe a strong word but shes God sent. I'm a veteran with several service connected injuries and she truly cares about the whole person. She is the one who discovered my bad thyroid, diverticulitis, and other issues. She was about 8 months pregnant and against my disagreeing she bent down and tied my shoe,because I was in so much pain I could not bear to do it. She's been a listening ear while going through my marital separation and has offered counsel and medication to help. As long as she's on staff I will forever be a patient at Boylan, and when she leaves I'm going to follow. Thanks Dr. Kim for being a breath of fresh air from the normal complacent and non chalant bedside manner of most medical staff."
