"I hv never met a more condescending, sarcastic, rude doctor who projects apathy. I reccomend you find ANOTHER doctor!! "

"The absolute worst! Stay clear!!!"

"I have been a patient of Dr Vera for three straight years. He and his staff are extremely efficient. Dr Vera is an excellent primary care physician, very knowledgeable and thorough. I highly recommend Dr Vera to any patient at any age that needs help in managing their health care. He set me up on a great path with specialists and suggestions and diet plan . He doesn’t rush, answers all questions and in my opinion makes you feel very comfortable. Btw the nyu facility on west 26th street is a great. "

"This Dr. is the worst! Had me waiting for my BP meds for over 5 days and then sends the script to the wrong pharmacy !! This has happened a handful of times in the last few years leading me to switch primary drs. Not reliable and unprofessional.. stay away from this guy "

"He is quite condescending and rude. I felt almost embarrassed sharing updates about my health after a span of a year. He also made some snarky remarks about me wanting vaccines (which were mandated to me for immigration, weren't even my choice). Lastly, when I was diagnosed with Covid I sent him a message since it wasn't mild, I got no response from him, just a generic message from a nurse."

"Dr. Vera was on time, responsive to my questions and very thorough at each of my visits. His office staff were also very helpful when I had to reschedule last minute. He clearly knows a lot about medicine and seems up to date with my conditions that my prior doctors didn't thoroughly explain to me, some of which I was unaware I even had. I think Dr. Vera's bedside manner could use some work but he has cared a lot about me and has had my best interests in mind. Now I feel much less overwhelmed by my conditions, am connected with some terrific specialists and finally feel on the right track with my health."

"Dr. Kennth Vera was dismissive and rude from the very start of the appointment. He would cut me off mid-sentence and used sarcasm as his main tool of communication. I would not recommend anyone use him as a medical professional. "

"If there was a rating that I could give below one star I would do that Hard to believe the positive feedback here - felt I was in an alternate world in the treatment and the unprofessional behavior I can go on and on - but you get the point, please find someone else to go to"

"Dr. Vera was very professional and on time. He gave me a comprehensive exam and ordered several labs for disease prevention. He listened to my concerns asked me questions and followed up promptly. "
  • March 31, 2023
"Clearly Dr. Vera has better things to do than seeing patients, my entire visit appeared to be an inconvenience to him. Short bordering on rude, zero interest in providing any standard of care as an internist. Avoid. "
  • February 22, 2023
"I have had several amazing visits with Dr. Vera. He was recommended to me by three of my friends who see him. Dr. Vera is extremely professional, a great listener and has perfect bedside manner. He got my blood pressure back to normal with just diet and exercise (no medications). He also saved my life by catching an appendix infection that an urgent care doctor missed. I feel very lucky to have Dr. Vera as my doctor. And to the question about recommending him to my family and friends, I already have. My parents and my best friend are his patients now."

"I wish I read these reviews before! Dr. Vera was referred and was the worse doctor I have ever had the experience of dealing with. He was rude, condescending, unwilling to listen and I will not use any NYU doctors because of him. I would recommend a refresher course in patient relations."
  • November 18, 2022
"Condescending. Rude. Zero professionalism. Arrogant with zero care for patient "
  • November 17, 2022
"Honestly, the worst doctor I’ve ever had. Very condescending and unwilling to help if it means doing anything beyond the absolute bare minimum. "
  • November 9, 2022
"Wonderful doctor! I’m glad I found him.. he’s the best I ever had for pcp. Highly recommended and always on time "
  • September 21, 2022

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
