"DO NOT GO HERE.. Have you ever wanted to feel like you're in a horror movie? If so, this is the place to go. I was referred by my dentist as a second choice but they could get me in faster. When I went on Google to get directions the day of the extractions I read a few reviews and made myself stop as they were not the best.
I'm thinking, can it really be that bad?
Yes, yes it can.
My first clue should have been the bloody tooth half way across the floor as I sit in the chair and wait for the unbelievable events to happen.
He came in, confirmed the extractions, I needed 4. Luckily they were in the back. Bad teeth run in my family so I am no stranger to dental work including extractions. I can take pain and can keep myself calm.
He proceeded to numb me by violently shoving the needle in and out of my jaw numerous places. Nothing I have ever experienced. I started shaking and the nurse said it was epinephrine in the novocaine which has NEVER happened to me before.
I think it was sheer ...terror of what might come next after that display of no common curiosity for my mouth.
He comes back in, says there will be pressure to check on the numbness and bam.
Continue torture. Holding my head to be able to push on my teeth in the most forceful way possible and it was as he was trying to win a game and see how many he could do in the shortest amount of time. I cannot even fully describe it. I had tears in my eyes from the craziness (not crying) and he says, "you are making me look bad with that tear" REALLY?
Needless to say it was 45 minutes after my appointment time when it started and they let me walk out of there with blood all over my face.
Days later, I couldn't think about writing the review until then cause I couldn't bring myself to relive it, I have major swelling and pain as the trauma to my mouth is unspeakable.
Still 2 weeks later I am having issues.
I have been pulling pieces of teeth out of my healing gums because they continue to be sore for this reason. I feel that there is a piece under healed gum and it will have to be addressed. I'm going back to the dentist to assess the situation. This is unacceptable and he should not be able to continue to do what he does from my experience and reading the reviews. He does more harm than good.
I do not wish him on anyone "Read more

"Dr Knipe was very professional and caring. He explained everything to me before he touched me. He gave me the shot to numb me and let it work in and then he came back and said he will push on it a little to see how numb I was and the next thing I know he is putting gauze in my mouth over the tooth. I said are you done already? He said jokingly he could put it back. I could not believe it was that quick and painless and stress less. It could not have taken more than a few seconds. I was amazed and recommend him highly...........Joe R"

"Knipe botched a simple extraction resulting in unnecessary nerve damage, for which he has no sympathy, has no remorse, and offered no solutions whatsoever. Stay away!"
