"This is my second go round with Dr. Kaan. Both times back surgery bone replacement and fusion...He is the only dr. I trust. Very direct and will tell you no sugar coated answer."

"Initially, on my first visit I was a bit put off by Dr. Kaan’s “bedside manner”, but after a year of suffering from lower back and body pains created by severe spinal stenosis, I elected to have him perform a decompression procedure. Everything went better than I could hope for. The nerve-created pain went away almost immediately. Now just shy of three months the pain from the healing of the surgical procedure itself is virtually gone. I’m still following instructions and avoiding bending over and not lifting heavy items. If I should need any back related procedures in the future I would ask Dr. Kaan to perform them. And the staff at Queens Medical Center was superb."
