Hughes earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing as a family nurse practitioner from Northwestern State University of Louisiana College of Nursing in Shreveport. Board certified by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Hughes helps …families stay well so they can stick to their normal routine.

Born and raised in northwest Louisiana countryside, Hughes now enjoys time on her own farm. Her husband, Matt, was her high school sweetheart and they have two sons, Huck and Walker.
