"I would highly Dr Ahn as his knowledge, education of my situation, bed side manor and expertise as a surgeon has given me a new lease on life. I've been struggling with sciatica and back pain for 2 months. I had visited two doctors and a chiropractor. One of the doctors recommended Texas Back institute and Dr Ahn. On my first visit to doctor on he Review the x rays and set forth a course of action. Which included rehabilitation exercises and pain management. The rehabilitation did not work, The next course of action was a Steroid injection. The failed followed shortly by a second round of steroid injections, which also failed The pain management company referred me back to my surgeon Dr.Ahn. He took the time to detail review the MRI, point out the issues that he saw and assured me. The what was needed was dual fusion back. He set the appointment for surgery. He arranged all details. Set the appointment for surgery. He arranged all details, including approval of the Insurance Company for the procedure. He decided that the best course of action was dual fusionsurgery on L4 and L5. His trusted colleague and Dr Ahn did the surgery which took proximately three hours. Complication of a cyst arose that complicated the surgery. The care that I received from Dr Ahn and the hospital staff was amazing. After three days I was up and walking almost as normal. After a week I was walking 7,000 steps per day in my rehabilitation process. Throughout the process, Dr Ahn set the expectations that my goal was to walk normally, which I had not done in 5 months. He emphasize this was the right solution that was not going to be a miracle in some cases.. Fortunately he was wrong. This was transformation and a near miracle to me, that I can walk normally after two weeks.. I would highly Dr Ahn as his knowledge, education of my situation, bed side manor and expertise as a surgeon has given me a new lease on life. Thanks a million to Dr Ahn and his team. Along with the wonderful care at Medical City Denton. "
