"Dr Josue Lopez is just what I needed to help correct the concerns I have with my child. He is straight to the point and matter of fact. I feel confident with him thus far. He knows his medications and is not willing to medicate a child for life. Very proactive and reactive professional. I feel we’re going to get the treatment she needs. "

"Dr. Josue Lopez should not be working in mental health. When I saw him today for our second session, he was combative, condescending, and inflexible with me - a patient with ADHD, anxiety, OCD, and more. For those of us with these difficulties, it requires a great deal of mental and physical energy to seek help, and follow-through is a tremendous challenge. But I did my best - as much as I was financially able (his assignments from our first visit came with a several hundred dollar price tag). I explained my financial predicament and provided my plan for completing his requirements - I told him exactly how I would do it, along with the date by which it would be done. He immediately shut me down. He was inflexible, offering no understanding, no kindness, and no alternative plans or offers to work with me in any way. He was extremely rude. I became upset and started crying. His response? He told me to leave. As a licensed psychologist, Dr. Lopez needs to remember that he works in *mental health* and neurodivergent individuals have, among other things, a much lower frustration tolerance than a neurotypical person. Also, this man is a child psychologist. I am confused why the clinic scheduled me with him in the first place, since I am most definitely not a child. I cannot even imagine how he is with small children, who inherently have a low frustration tolerance even in normal circumstances. I vehemently do not recommend Dr. Lopez or Face to Face Mental Health Services."
