"Dr. Kou twice gave me his precious second opinion on my metatarsal left and right feet issues despite his busy schedule. He has been performing hundreds of surgeries and he knows what is the best to his patients’ conditions. He carefully listened to my story and checked my feet and the positions of the callouses and gave me assurance that he gave me the best advice. I had a bone surgery on my left despite his opinion not to have surgery. I truly regret that I did not listen to his advice because after the surgery I began suffering from a few callouses all the time. This time I will surely listen to his recommendation and will manage my callouses pain in other ways. "

"Dr. Kou has a great bedside manner. He is direct in his approach, but never talks down to you. He took the time to explain things to me, I never felt he rushed. He has extensive experience, especially in ankle replacements. My ankle replacement has been extremely successful. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing foot and/or ankle care."

"I met Dr. Kou for the first time expecting to have expensive orthotics made. He informed me that they would not correct my foot problem because of my knees. He recommended buying Super Feet orthotics from a shoe store or Amazon, which would give me better support than drugstore orthotics. I appreciated his honesty."

"I ruptured my achilles on a Wednesday. Within a week I had been diagnosed by Dr. Kou and had surgery to repair it. His manner is excellent and reassuring. He was clear with recovery expectations and there were no long waits in the office. It has been 4 months now since surgery and I'm ahead of schedule with recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Kou. No one wants to have surgery, but the experience was as good as could possibly be expected."
