"WORST OFFICE EVER! NURSE PRACTITIONER AMANDA SAID ALL MY TESTS FROM THE HOSPITAL WERE NEGATIVE AND THAT I HAD A FLARE UP OF COPD, I DO NOT HAVE COPD AND NEVER HAVE HAD IT. I INFORMED HER THE FL DEPT OF HEALTH NOTIFIED ME I HAD TESTED POSITIVE FOR PERTUSSIS 2 DAYS AFTER BEING RELEASED. SHE FINALLY FOUND THOSE RECORDS AND TOLD ME THAT MY VIRUS WAS NOW CLEARED UP EVEN THOUGH I AM STILL SICK AS A DOG. I TOLD HER PERTUSSIS IS BACTERIAL, NOT VIRAL. SHE SAID PERTUSSIS CAN BE BOTH. I KNEW SHE WAS CLUELESS BECAUSE I KNEW THAT WAS WRONG. SHE HAS BEEN LICENSED A SHORT TIME. I ASKED HER HOW SHE KNOWS IF MY PERTUSSIS WAS THE VIRAL OR BACTERIAL TYPE AND SHE SHOUTED THAT SHE WENT TO SCHOOL FOR 10 YEARS TO LEARN THIS. I SAID WOW, YOU DONT LIKE ME VERY MUCH... SHE GOT HER PRACTICE ADMINISTRATOR WHO WAS ALSO VERY RUDE AND SHORT WITH ME AND MY HUSBAND. THE PRACTICE ADMIN HAD SCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT WITH ME AND I TOLD HER HOW SICK I AM SO SHE KNEW WHY I WAS COMING THERE. THERE WERE NO OTHER ...
PATIENTS THERE, I MEAN ZERO. I ASKED TO SEE THE DOCTOR AND WAS TOLD HE COMES IN ONCE PER MONTH. I CALLED THE ON CALL DOCTOR THAT NIGHT, HE SAID HE WOULD HAVE SOMEONE CALL ME THE NEXT DAY, NOTHING. I JUST CALLED AND ASKED TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH ANOTHER DOCTOR AND WAS TOLD THAT I AM BANNED FROM THEIR OFFICE. I AM 53, I FEEL BAD FOR HOW THEY MUST TREAT THE ELDERLY OR THE BAD INFORMATION PEOPLE ARE GIVEN WHO MAY NOT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BACTERIAL AND VIRAL INFECTIONS. BACK TO SCHOOL FOR YOU MISS AMANDA! "
