"Having recently relocated to the Blue Ridge area, and having sudden significant vision issues which my previous provider had diagnosed as being caused spikes in my blood sugar levels, I was fortunate to find Dr. Patten. He properly diagnosed the issue as sudden onset cataracts, compounded by high internal eye pressures. After several visits, cataract surgery was decided upon. Dr. Patton ultimately operated on both eyes, and with incredible results- I had been wearing corrective lenses since 1964... but no longer need them. Dr. Patton is bright, communicative, compassionate, and very competent. His office does not include an optical shop, which I found very refreshing. The fact that he asked to pray with me before each of the two surgeries told me about all I needed to know about the man."

"Waited 6 months to get appointment to find he was unable to help me with my macula edema and referred me to a ophthalmologist in atlanta area. Hoped to be more local to our home but will pursue another Doc able to help me with my eye care needs. He did provide a script for glasses but that was all. If you decide to go there be SURE help is available to you for your particular."
