Dr. John T. Murrell, DDS

John T. Murrell, DMD is a well-established dental practitioner in Mount Dora. His entire dental career has been in the Mount Dora area. He graduated from Loma Linda University in Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy, and his doctorate in dentistry was earned at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He has been a long-standing member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Lake County Dental Society and DOCS—Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. Dr. Murrell stays current with the profession he loves and with ways to better serve your dental needs by being a regular attendee at the American Dental Association conventions held throughout the United States. He also takes in as many of the various local and national meetings and courses that his schedule will permit. He has been practicing Relaxation Dentistry (a form of non-needle oral sedation) longer than any other dentist in Central Florida. This technique has made dental care available to many who would otherwise avoid visits to the dentist. Dr. Murrell is a family man, and he and his wife, Sue, are happily married and have two married daughters and two grandchildren. Both Dr. and Sue are very active in their church and in the community. They also combine their love of travel with their mission work, having served in Honduras, Russia, Africa and Peru.
