"Excellent care of my ingrown toenails. I went to another podiatrist once, as a last minute thing when Dr. D was unavailable; the downtown podiatrist did not do a good job. Made me appreciate Dr. D's excellent technical skills. Also a great 'bedside manner'"

"Owing to my penchant for doing ridiculous things, I’ve been limping in and out of his office for nearly 20 years now. I’ve broken bones, sprained ankles, torn tendons, had plantar fasciitis in both heels, and he's always fixed me right up. He is kind, funny, patient, and fully present; he listens carefully to your concerns, and never pushes for the surgical option without exhausting every conservative method. He’s fought valiant insurance battles, humored me while loopy on anesthesia, cheerfully distracted my young daughter when I shouted expletives getting a cortisone shot, and given good general health advice. What I love the most about Dr Doolan is how in love with his job he is. His whole face lights up when he talks about foot-related research and surgical strategies, and like the excellent teacher he is, makes you care about them too. I could literally spend all day long listening to this guy talk about feet. If you have foot issues like I have foot issues, Dr Doolan is your man."

"The visit made me feel so uneasy he was very short with his answers to any questions was not attentive to anything I was trying to explain. In doing research he fit the profile of the doctor I need. I have second thoughts to revisit. Then I asked the Assistant for a copy of the test which was in his hand and the way he shoved it to me was so unprofessional. He has no bedside manner what so ever. He needs to have all patients that has the same attitude like him.I never write bad Reviews but the feeling I got from him I had to do this review. Now I am looking for another podiatrist affiliated with another hospital because the two I had with this hospital attitudes are the same. I value the medical professionals with this hospital but the podiatry I can not continue with. All of the other personal I dealt with in that office made me feel comfortable."

"Excellent doctor who actually LISTENS and answers in easy to understand terms. He spends the TIME to make you feel less like on a timed conveyor belt and more as a real person. He is TERIFFIC!!!!"

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
