"Dr B is a good ophthalmologist, sometimes is rough, sometimes he isn’t. His staff should smile to patients. They all need a good customer service training. Of course, there are few exceptions along them. I am concerned about visible signs of Parkinson on another doctor. It is very clear his hands are shaking while working with the equipment."

"I would not recommend Dr. Bokosky to anyone. After waiting an hour an a half because they were overbooked, he was very abrupt and talked to me for a total of 5 minutes. He gave me results of my exam and was eager to brush me off to the next specialist and not explain any further. He would tell me the most minimal amount of info and kept saying “Alright. Any more questions. “ and then disappeared out the door. I only went to him as a referral and again would not recommend him."

"He’s very skilled but scheduling and wait times are nightmarish. I was rescheduled—. Fine. To 7 AM. He didn’t arrive at the office until 8 to a waiting room full of unhappy patients. Some scheduling glitch but not uncommon to wait 45 min+ just to get into exam room most of the time. They should do better. "

"I was early for my appointment. Did not have to wait for my yearly checkup from cataract surgery four years ago. Kathy was careful checking my vision. I am pleased with Dr. B and his excellent work"

"I like Dr. Bokosky but visiting his office is a nightmare. It is in a busy downtown area and parking is nonexistent. There are several doctors in this office and today, as usual, the waiting room was full to capacity with patients spilling over into the surgery waiting room and out onto the benches outside. I waited for an hour beyond my appointment time to even be seen by an assistant who checked my vision and tear production - no apology or explanation for the delay. Then I was sent back outside to wait for the doctor. I am a businessperson too and have my own appointments, and after another half hour of waiting l had to leave. I never did get to see the doctor. The attitude seems to be that patient's time is not important. Dr. B may be very knowledgeable but be prepared to spend several hours to accomplish even a simple appointment. "
