Dr. Cancro uses her own practice of staying fit, whether it’s yoga, biking or swimming to guide her patients. She understands what could be going on in your life, and she plans accordingly for your visit. She also gets you thinking about what you should be doing next to continue your healing process. Every treatment is extremely thorough, and she uses a combination of techniques, so you can get back to your busy, active lifestyle. Her methods include spinal and extremity adjusting, and varied myofascial soft tissue techniques. And she recommends specific therapeutic exercises, diets and supplements, nutritional counseling, proper posture and even advice on the ergonomics in your office. …Every year, chiropractors are required to take continuing education courses. Dr. Cancro significantly exceeds the amount required because she truly cares about the wellness of her patients. She’s dedicated to staying on the cutting edge of the technology and the soft tissue techniques that help her patients — many of whom she’s been working with for years. It’s her expectation that her patients see major results after just one or two visits. Dr. Cancro was appointed to the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Chiropractors — it's one of 39 licensing boards supervised and supported by the Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure. In 2021, she was inducted as a Fellow into the American College of Chiropractors (FACC). She's also a member of the New York Chiropractic College Board of Trustees. This is her Alma mater, where she graduated cum laude. Dr. Cancro has a diploma in Ayurvedic Medicine and is certified in Meridian Therapy. She is an active member of Phi Chi Omega Chiropractic Honor Society. And because she truly loves her community, she supports many local kids’ teams and art productions. Dr. Cancro is also a graduate of Boston College. Full body certified in the Active Release Technique (ART), Kinesio Taping, Cold Laser Therapy, and Cox Flexion-Distraction method.
