Jingduan Yang, MD, is a leading physician, board-certified psychiatrist, foremost integrative medicine expert, and fifth-generation teacher and practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, specializing in clinical acupuncture.

A sought-after speaker, author, and educator, Dr. Yang is known for pioneering a holistic approach to health that focuses on finding the root causes of disease in the physical, biochemical, bioenergetic, and spiritual dimensions of the human body. He is loved by those who know him for his tireless dedication to improving the lives of his patients, and the public, through practice and education.

Dr. Yang’s knowledge is the culmination of 30 years of training, teaching, and clinical experience in the fundamentals of traditional Chinese medicine and integrative medicine, coupled with a distinguished formal education at prestigious medical universities in China, Australia, the U.S., and U.K.

Dr. Yang practices his evidence-based, cutting-edge medicine as medical director of the eponymous Yang Institute of Integrative Medicine, which serves patients in the northeast with three locations, including Manhattan.

The institute’s impressive range of successful clinical therapies, together with Dr. Yang’s dedication to helping his patients achieve their optimal health, has attracted mainstream media attention from the New York Times magazine, ABC, NBC, Allure, Harper’s Bazaar, and many others.

Dr. Yang is a faculty member at the University of Arizona’s Center for Integrative Medicine, former assistant professor of psychiatry  and director of the Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture Program at the Jefferson-Myrna Brind Center for Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University.

Whether providing strategies to eliminate stress and psychological imbalances, offering ways to enhance one’s physical appearance, or presenting complementary methods to conventional therapeutic modalities, Dr. Yang is dedicated to advancing an integrative, whole-person approach to improving the lives of his patients, and the public in general.

As such, he is a founding board member of the nonprofit International Network of Integrative Mental Health, which is dedicating to improving public access to integrative medicine modalities.

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
