"I have the worst experience with Dr. Jerry Yang and his team. I have Type 1 Diabetes, and will need my medical supplies (Insulin, Glucose test strips, CGM sensor and transmitter) every month. It occurs to me that the doctor doesn't understand the care needs of the patient, or they just don't care. I just switched to a new insurance in Sept 2020, and my new insurance needs some document from the doctor for me to proceed with reordering all the supplies. Despite multiple messages via UCSF my chart, and phone call with the medical assistant, the paper work is still not in place. In the end, I just asked the doctor to send me the prescriptions directly so I can go to a discounted pharmacy to pick up my supply for this month, since I have been out of supplies for over two weeks. But the office just completely ignored. As for now, I am still waiting for the doctor's office to get me the prescriptions. "
