"Granted this review goes back to 2012, but that gives you an idea of how long I have been trying to get answers. When preparing to go in for allergy testing, I was told by "someone" in the office that I could take either Benadryl or Allegra (can't remember which they said) prior to the allergy test for environmental. Having never had allergy testing since I was a child, I didn't think much of it, but in retrospect, it's no wonder I had no reaction to any of the allergens. Now 10 years later after finally getting help from an ENT at Michigan Ear, I was told no allergy meds and other meds prior to testing and I was found to be allergic to all molds that were tested for, white oak, timothy grass, johnson grass, cat and dog dander, and dust mites. In 2020 I saw Dr. Demore who told me they don't test for foods. Why not? Michigan Ear tested via an IgE test and found I am allergic to milk and egg whites. While there are no injections to help with those, at least NOW I know what to avoid. ...
