"Don't use this guy.. absolutely horrible!"

"The worst experience!!! In the past, my whole family was visiting Dr. Best with no special complaints. However, this year my son came with a serious condition in his ankle related to a nerve pain. I was waiting for him and able to provide my honest review of my son's visits to this doctor. First, it was difficult to schedule an appointment and long waiting time: the new receptionist Jesse was rude, not organized, nor caring or helpful. She was not friendly nor trying to help to resolve the issue. Seems, she treats patients based on the insurance and origin. Her responsibility should be to make one appointment time per person, instead of giving the same time of appointment to a several people, plus not recording appointments in the system. As a result, and an example, my son came for 12 noon appointment on Friday, Sept.1st, and found out that his appointment is even not in the system, even though the time card which was given to him, clearly was showing 12noon appt. My son was waiting more ...
than 1 hour in order the doctor to briefly take a look at his painful ankle: there was no treatment provided at that day for which was the appointment card was given. On Friday Sept. 8th, the appointment time as 8:45 am which was given for my son over by Jessy, was again not met by the office: there were other people waiting in the room for the same time appointment, and my son had to wait long when the doctor was finally took him, being choosy to what patient to take first. Appointments were rushed and questions my son asked were not answered ; the condition was not explained well: The length of each appointment was slightly more than 5 min, we did not know the diagnosis and what he was prescribed the medication for. I interrupted and asked the receptionist about doctor's notes, but she refused to provide. She called doctor who said that he will provide with a notes next week, meaning there were no doctor's notes in the system, and we were not able to see anywhere on line, because this doctor did not provide the Chart option, as everywhere is offered. How everything can be explained, if appointments are rushed? Especially, if other patients have the time of appointment at the same time. How can we trust the provider's decisions on treatments, if there is such a mess in the office? There was no attention from the doctor to my son's treatment, he even could not remember what side of his foot needed to be treated: left or right. An example: before starting treatment, Dr. asked my son what foot and started checking a different part of the foot, which my son did not complain about...The receptionist screamed from an other side of the office, what foot, left or right, needs treatment?! This is so unprofessional! So my son decided do not go to this doctor anymore, and I myself picked up with Power of Attorney all doctors notes which he finally created just after I asked for them. After reading, I noticed that not all the information there is correct, especially what relates to time Dr. spent with my son, despite his multiple medical conditions. Also, he gladly gave me the form to sign that my son is no longer is his patient, even though I did not ask him about. This way he gladly avoided responsibility and got rid of the patient who was a witness of the mess in this office. Elena, mother and son Philipp "

"Dr. Best cured my plantar fasciitis a few years ago using extracorporeal shock wave therapy at a very reasonable cost. Other treatments were not successful. About three weeks ago, I developed Morton’s neuroma in my left foot. Dr. Best immediately diagnosed the condition and offered a number of potential treatments. I decided on a cortisone injection which reduced the inflammation and the pain and allowed me to resume playing golf within 4 days. In addition, Dr. Best customized inserts for my golf shoes to reduce the pressure on my toes which should reduce the chance of recurrence. I would highly recommend Dr. Best. His bedside manner is exceptional and he gets results. "

"Dr. Best is a great doctor. Not only has he taken great care of my father Charles foot issues, but also he is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming his patient!"

"I went to Dr. Best and he is a joke. He stuck me with a needle to give me a cortisone injection and then pulled the needle out saying "oh wrong needle, I was giving you the harpoon". he had then switched the needle tip and reinserted the needle in me, with Ultra sound, he then wiggled the needle inside my ankle to try to reposition it; why wasn't the needle properly inserted the first time? I left his practice and saw more qualified doctor who explained what Dr. Best did made my issue worse as it was near my tendon. Also to note, he over charges your insurance. I was billed $250 for a "Prost Device", which was literally an ankle sleeve that you can buy off the shelf at CVS for max $20. I was charged for a real walking booth at another doctor for $250. I wish I never went to his office!"
