OVERVIEW
Jed J. Weinberg, M.D. is a board certified Internist. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. During his training he was awarded the honor of Intern of the Year. He was also appointed Chief Medical Resident and supervised medical residents in three teaching hospitals.
Dr. Weinberg accepted an academic appointment in a faculty practice at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center for two years before joining West Carver Medical in October, 1989. He was actively involved in teaching Stony Brook medical students from 1990 through 2004. Specifically he was Course Director and Preceptor for the Physical Diagnosis Course at Huntington Hospital from 1990 through 1998. He became a Fellow of the American College of Physicians in 1994. In addition, Dr. Weinberg served on the hospital Pharmacy Committee through 2005.
Dr. Weinberg has twenty years of experience in clinical medicine and enjoys practicing in all aspects of patient …care including office, hospital medicine and nursing home settings.
