"A formal complaint has already been filed and pending investigation with the Cleveland Clinic, but I wanted to also post here warning others of the type of behavior Jean S. Reinhold displays as a medical "professional." On 1/6 I delivered my first baby via c-section. I was experiencing bad pain in my incision site a few days later and was unable to get in to see my primary OB for a week. His office instead scheduled me with Dr. Reinhold in Avon because I live in Westlake, and this was the closet office. I was sitting in the room waiting for Dr. Reinhold to come in when I hear her say to the nurse outside, "Why is she here?" The nurse tells her I wasn't able to get in with my primary doc and I live in Westlake and this was the closest and soonest available appt. Dr. Reinhold responds with, "Wow. It's BEYOND ME how someone could go to a random STRANGER for this" in the most disgusted voice. She quickly walked into another patients room, but when I opened the door the nurse apologized ...
on behalf of the doctor and handed me a box of tissues. She said it must have been so upsetting to hear that she offered to go get my husband from the waiting room and told him the doctor said something "extremely inappropriate". I ended up walking out from my appt but not before calling her out on her unprofessionalism and how hurtful her words were to hear as a first time mom in pain recovering from a major surgery and just looking for medical help from someone as soon as possible. Avoid this doctor at all costs. "
