OVERVIEW

Born in NYC and raised an Westport, CT, I attended Duke University and went on to study medicine in Philadelphia, train in Surgery, Transplant and Tissue Engineering in Boston, Plastic Surgery in NJ and Orthopedic Hand Surgery in NYC. I dedicated 20 years beyond graduating from high school training to become a practitioner trained and capable of reconstructing tissues at all levels, from bone to skin, for either reconstructive or cosmetic purposes. I opened my practice in the Princeton area in 1996, at the age of 37, and have been treating people in this region ever since. I have had the privilege of being one of the very few who have trained in all three disciplines of hand surgery, including Orthopedic, Plastic and General Surgery, offering a unique perspective when managing problems of the hand and upper limb. I have also specialized in Pediatric Plastic Surgery at Boston Children's Hospital, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia [CHOP], Cooper University Hospital and the …Franciscan Hospital for Children [formally the John F. Kennedy Hospital for Children] in Boston. As an artist who works with several media, I am privileged to have the opportunity to use my artistic, scientific and three dimensional visual skills to perform cosmetic surgical procedures for patients throughout our region, as well as those who have traveled from other national and international locations. Having conducted basic science laser research in both Boston and New York, I am well versed and maintain a strong clinical practice in the application of medical lasers for use during cosmetic procedures. Finally, as Medical Director of the Reliant Surgical Center, LLC, I have an opportunity to oversee every aspect of ambulatory surgical care with the assistance of a fine Administrative and Nursing Staff in order to maximize operative facility quality, patient comfort and safety, all of which are paramount to maintaining a successful Plastic Surgical Practice. Dr. Matthew J. Lynch, Associate Medical Director, and I work diligently to maintain and preserve the finest treatment environment for all of our patients. "I always hated my thinning lips but was terrified to get lip fillers because I always think they look so fake on others. "Dr wisser review I had a freak accident that left my nose severely damaged. The original doctor sewed it back together but he didn’t address the structural issues which left me with serious breathing problems and left my nose disfigured. Dr. Wisser had to find creative techniques to replace the missing cartilage, and reshape and rebuild my nose. He spent significant time attending to every detail. He is an artist! My nose looks amazing and most importantly I can breathe again. My quality of life has improved drastically. Dr. Wisser is a life saver!"

"Thank you Dr. Wisser. Thank you for saving my hand. I had a catastrophic accident four years ago. This accident crushed most of my right hand, crushing bones separating muscles splitting skin and tendons. I was blessed and lucky that Dr. Wisser was the plastic surgeon that the hospital called when my accident occurred. Close to a hundred hours of surgery and reconstruction has given me almost 70% function. With four fingers and a prosthetic device for my thumb my function has largely returned. Dr. Wisser precisely reconstructed fingers, nerves, tendons and skin to return my hand to very close to normal appearance. Dr Wiser's plastic surgeon precision has left my hand almost scarless. Dr Wisser and his support staff were available and responsive, knowledgeable efficient and kind. Two of my sisters supported me through hospitalization, surgeries and recovery. We all love Dr Wisser. I have no reservations in recommending Dr Wisser and his surgical services. "

"Dr. Whisser is beyond professional and knowledgeable. I had a very complicated case that was not handled by another orthopedic surgeon over the years. He performed Wrist arthroscopy and I had extensive internal damage! I wouldn’t ever go to any other surgeon. His nurse, Joan has been more than nurturing to me! "I was referred to Dr. Wisser after an EMG indicated that I had severe carpal tunnel syndrome. He met with me and my husband for over an hour and explained the situation and exactly what he would do. I had the surgery on 9/14, went back to see him on 9/22 and had the stitches removed on 10/4. I never had any pain after the surgery and my hand is functioning beautifully - no numbness or tingling sensations at all. I can't say enough about Dr. Wisser and his staff. They are caring professionals who have you and your best interests at heart. They take the time to answer your questions and make sure you are comfortable with the procedure you're going to have."

"I met Dr. Wisser when I accidentally amputated the little finger of my right hand. It was my good fortune that Dr. Wisser was contacted by the ER doctor for a surgical consult. He took his time explaining the different options and what he thought would be best for me. I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision even though it was late in the evening when most would like to be home. Dr. Wisser was able to re-attach all the tendons and I now have almost full function of my hand. He and his staff have been great, professional and friendly. I highly recommend the team at Princeton Surgical Specialties."

"I've known Dr. Wisser for quite some time now due to him coming to the rescue for both my mom & brother when they both had emergency accidents. He is warm, caring, gentle, & after seeing how he cared for my mom and brother, I knew I could trust him with my concerns. I came to Dr. Wisser a few months ago about my deviated septum, sinus/breathing issues, collapsed nostrils, & the overall aesthetic of my nose just not being something I ever felt confident with. I'm naturally anxious, especially when it comes to surgery, so Dr. Wisser spent such a generous amount of time with me explaining how the septoplasty/turbinectomy/rhinoplasty would work & he reassured me that my results would be natural to compliment & fit my facial features. He is patient, concise, and truly cares. On the day of surgery, I felt so safe with him & the OR nurses. I'm now a month post op and I could not be more pleased with my results. Dr. Wisser is a true artist in his craft, I'd give him ten stars if I could! "

"Dr Wisser and I’s paths crossed after my car had been hit by a car going 75 MPH when traffic was stopped (don’t text and drive!) and I was taken to the nearby trauma center. Based on pictures, it’s safe to say I looked like I was dead with a crushed in right side of my face including a smashed orbital and very broken nose. Dr. Wisser was truly a gift from god during my first 8 hour surgery and other flow up surgeries / procedures for facial reconstruction. After the accident it was hard for me to look in the mirror but now most people wouldn’t know anything had happened to me and in fact are surprised when I tell them. On top of his amazing work is he in an amazing person and made us feel safe and taken care of throughout the process. Would recommend him to any and everyone!"

"I went to the Princeton Rejuvination center for consultation for laser hair removal and I was nervous since I had never had any type of prodedures done before. I met Lori (who is the SWEETEST!) and immediately felt more at ease. Then Dr Wisser came in-- I thought it would be a very high level consultation but he really took the time to answer all of my questions and we had an in-depth discussion of the prodcure, what to expect, etc. He went way above and beyond even during my consultation. I then decided to book a package and i am SO glad i did- Dr Wisser, Lori, and the laser technician made me feel SO comfortable during the procedure and the procedure was virtually painless. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr wisser and staff."

"I had my fingers caught into a router and thought that I would lose my fingers. Dr. Wisser came in the emergency room and evaluated my injury. There was a inch gap from the tip to well past my second knuckle in my ring finger and some of the tip of the middle finger was missing. He decided that he could repair my fingers in the ER instead of in the operating room. He asked me if I had any questions and the only thing I could think off was if I would be able to bowl again. His response was " Do you bowl now?" His gentleness and his bedside manner were amazing. During the procedure he we were talking about different things including that was daughter was in labor with my grandson at the same time. His skills were outstanding. He was able to repair my fingers and assured me that I would be not lose the use of my fingers. After only two months , the middle finger is completely healed and the ring finger is healed at 90 percent. I would recommend Dr. Wisser to anyone without hesitation. "

"I would highly recommend Dr. Wisser and The amazing nurses and staff at Princeton surgical specialties! After I cut my finger with an electric food processor Dr. Wisser came in and saved the day! He worked extremely efficiently in the emergency room and provided detailed and helpful follow up care at their office. On the first follow up visit Nurse Lori, the head nurse there, gave me her personal phone number and told me to call or text her if I had any questions or problems. When I did text her the following week asking for advice on some side effects I was having from pain medication she responded right away with the appropriate steps to take to alleviate my problems!! Very helpful! Dr. Wisser is highly skilled in his Field! I like that I got to see the same doctor that treated me in the emergency room for my follow up visits as well. Very good patient to doctor consistency. Even though I know all the staff sees many patients...they always knew me by name as soon as I would walk in!"
