"I was extremely disappointed with this doctors visit. I know that she is a neurologist. If a child comes to her and does not have a neurological issue it doesn’t mean that nothing is wrong and it is all in their head. I think she should be more hesitant about giving a diagnosis of “psychological“. My child has clear medical issues and just because because it’s some thing that dr. Palaganas doesn’t understand or has no medical experience in doesn’t mean she should deem this “ psychological“. I happen to be an educated person but I think this would cause a lot of harm in patients whose parents are not more educated. Since our visit with her we saw an amazing doctor at Boston Children’s Hospital who knew exactly what the issue was and knew exactly what the plan should be to help my child feel more comfortable. This is a SERIOUS issue and pediatric patients will suffer if given a diagnosis of “psychological” if that is not indeed the case. "
