Dr. James Louis Schumacher

Dr. Schumacher Dr. Schumacher has been a member of the Jacksonville community since 1995.  He met his wife of 25 years at the University of Florida – both graduates of the class of 1984.  Together they are raising twins Anna and Austin (15) and Alex (13). After establishing his dental practice in Boca Raton, FL, family was a strong part of his decision to move to Jacksonville.  They enjoy fishing, sailing, school and church activities. In addition to establishing his Family and Cosmetic Dentistry practice, Dr. Schumacher teaches part time at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry.  Helping to mentor and support more dedicated dentists for the future. Dr. Schumacher is also an active member in: The American Equilibration Society The American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics Fellow in the International College of Oral Implantology Past President of the Jacksonville Dental Society Pankey Scholar at the L.D. Pankey Institute While taking continuing education courses from …many of the pioneers in restorative dentistry, Dr. Schumacher developed his keen interest in TMJ (bite disease) and facial pain.  To Dr. Schumacher great dentistry is about both art and function. “Makeovers do not have to be extreme, they can be so subtle that only the patient knows the difference.  Our goal is to create a result that can also last and work well for the patient.” For Dr. Schumacher it’s about getting to know his patients, allowing them the opportunity to know him and together developing a plan for a lifetime of great dental health.  Dr. Schumacher's Team:
