"My surgery for a cyst on the tip of my small finger was cancelled the day before my surgery, because Dr. Popp's office staff demanded a COVID-19 test be done the day BEFORE the surgery. As a physician who also performs outpatient surgery, a COVID-19 test was not appropriate to the circumstances, ie it was an awake, non-sedated surgery. They refused to accept a test performed outside their office including a superior PCR test. Had they offered the test the day of surgery or accepted an outside test there would have been no problem. Meagan one of his office staff was inflexible, rigid and unsympathetic to the fact that i would have had to cancel 25 of my own patients to accommodate their demand for a test that wasn't medically necessary. Based on their testing logic, every patient visiting their dentist would require a COVID-19 test. The fact that the test had to be performed at their office smells of "monetary considerations"! "
