"My 77 year old mother fell and broke her finger. Dr. James Piorkowski set it for her with a few pins and a soft cast. The procedure was quick and almost pain free. The staff from beginning to end was fantastic! The facility was clean and organized. The instructions for pre-op and post op were clear and explained to us both well. Mother returns for occupational therapy in 2 days. Doctor Piorkowski even gave us his personal cell for any future issues or concerns!"

"Dr. Piorkowski is AMAZING! He has been my doctor through TWO separate hand injuries and he performed an INTRICATE surgery on my husband's hand where he literally had to do a tendon replacement by threading a tendon from another muscle through his hand. The result was SUCCESSFUL, and now my husband has a 100% functional hand again! Both of my injuries have resolved also, thanks to Dr. Piorkowski's treatment. "Pushes surgery, ignores conservative treatment. If you are someone that is cost-conscious, conservative about treatment, or clueless when it comes to medical issues, I would recommend you be extremely cautious and vigilant if visiting him and his staff. They diagnosed me with de Quervain's tendonitis. And everything they said or did was pushing or trying to convince me to get surgery, including a painful test done by the PA that turned out to not be at all how it's supposed to be done. I'm now convinced that physical test was performed in a way to cause so much pain I'd agree to surgery. What they also didn't say when I told them I'm conservative and cost-conscious is that I had a 3rd option: splint and anti-inflammatory for 2-3 mos. (And it did work!) So glad I did my own research at Mayo and Cleveland clinic. Confirmed this clears up in 75-80% of people with a conservative treatment, no steroid, no surgery. They marked up my splint 2500%. Said it was $20. Charged my insurance $500! ...
Walmart sells for $27. Terrible. "

"Thank God for Dr. Piorkowski! I have a condition known as "Drop Foot", where I could not raise my foot or toes. This seriously impaired my ability to walk or even climb stairs. I had trouble finding a doctor to help me as I have heart and vascular disease and considered a high risk with little to no results. Dr. Piorkowski was the only one that didn't turn me away and the surgery was quick, painless, with a small incision, and now I can raise my foot and walk almost back to normal after 1 week. The general prognosis for this condition is to have treatment within 90 days or risk zero recovery. It had been 6 months because no other doctors would treat me. Dr. Piorkowski had faith that he could help and I'm amazed that I have my foot back! I was already planning a funeral for my foot, but now have that back and great faith in Dr. Piorkowski. Great team and support! Thank you all!"

"I have been seeing Dr. P for close to 6 months following a bad gunshot injury to my hand. In the beginning, the outlook for the hand looked very bleak. Dr. Piorkowski conducted two reconstructive surgeries on the hand and guided recovery. After recovering from the most recent surgery, the hand is regaining functionality to the point where It appears I can return to being a pilot. I was very fortunate to have him as a surgeon after a life-altering injury."

I was relieved to see Dr. Piorkowski since he examined my problem and gave me options for treatments with very specific reasons. He is the best and thoughtful! "I went to Dr. Piorkowski expecting to just get a cursory glance, a little prodding, and then a cortisone shot for pain in my arm I've dealt with for over a decade. He ACTUALLY listened to him, and worked to figure out the problem rather than slapping a bandaid (literally and figuratively) on the problem. He explained everything he was doing really well, from what he thought was the issue to why he was doing certain tests. Ultimately, the decision was made to go the surgery route. I'm HEAVILY tattooed, and surgery is always a fear with tattoos. You can BARELY tell I had surgery. He went through one of my more delicate linework pieces and lined it back up PERFECTLY. Highly recommend. Great doctor, and great person. Office staff was wonderful as well."
