"I had been a patient of Dr. Patterson's for several years. We had a very good Dr./Patient repour. Then I should up for an appt. and his new receptionist approach me with a ugly/almost hateful and disrespectful attitude for being a bout 15, maybe 25 minutes for being late. She then tried to scold me and tell me about their 15 minute late rule. Never heard of it before. She went on to tell me that my appt. maker, should have told me that. She in fact was my appt. setter and didn't mention it. For the record, I have been left sitting in waiting room, after being their up to 45 minutes early, on several instances. I have been taken advantage of my time as well. Did I ever say anything? No, other than you seem to be rather busy. This whole incident has been detrimental to my health and on top of all of that, my prescriptions, that had refills left, were all wiped clean. I had 10 already filled for me to pick up. All wiped clean. Is this the actions of a stable attitude from a doctor? I am ...
a non-operable heart patient with a defibrillator/pacemaker and am existing with less than 28 to 29 % of my heart. Now he has my pharmacy, deny me my meds, I'm talking all of my heart meds. This is unethical, in my opinion. Besides heart meds. I am also being treated for Nerve problems and Depression. I can not just stop talking these meds. and he knows it. You can not just stop taking Xanax without repercussions, this out of his own mouth, not to mention the ER. He has been treating me for major Cervical, thoracic, lumbar issues, which effects headaches to organ and extremity issues. Which have been a bit of relief by taking Gabapentin 3x daily, Flexrill 3x daily, and Tramadol 4x daily or as needed. He sent me to his referred Back specialist, which told him I was in operable due to major degeneration, head to hips. Just cut off! Now tell me how medically ethical is that. I had called, after this occurrence, that afternoon, which he had his head nurse speak to me instead of him. Did not even have the common courtesy to speak to me man to man. She convinced me to come in the following day. They were able to schedule me for 2:00 PM. Because of all this drama, it made me absolutely sick, on top of recovering from what was a severe cold/flu/possibly close to pneumonia. I had to call in and cancel for two reasons, feeling terrible and not wanting to take it in to the clinic. What is my reward? My primary doctor cuts me of, from all medications, which are basically keeping me alive. Medications, which are not to be stopped or may cause heart attack. i.e. Coreg, Plavix, Xanax, etc. I already had these meds. filled by pharmacy and now all meds are non refillable. Now, I am freaking out. "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
