Dr James Kornegay
I grew up on a farm 80 miles west of Orlando. After high school I joined the Air Force and was an Aircraft Instrument Technician. While I was in the Air Force (8 years) I went to night school and then graduated from Troy State University in 1976. My major was business management.
When I left the Air Force I went to work for a major corporation as a corporate recruiter and did that for two years. I was then a sales manager for the same company for another 4 years.
When I was 32 years of age, I decided that I wanted a career change and went back to school to become a dentist. I graduated from University of Missouri in 1986 and came back to Florida to open my practice.
I started practice in Orange City in June of 1987 and moved to the current location in May of 1992. I received my master's level education at the Academy of General Dentistry in 2001. I am married to my soul mate Beth, and have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. I enjoy fishing, hunting, woodworking and …horses.
