Dr. James Lee Jakubowski, DDS

James L. Jakubowski, DDS: "Dr. J" has spent most of his life in Menomonee Falls area and enjoys being close to family and the great people of the area.  A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, he received both bachelors and masters degrees in Psychology and a masters degree in Preventive Medicine from the University of Wisconsin Medical School.  But Dr. Jakubowski's true love is dentistry and he received his training at Marquette University.  This was followed by a general practice residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Teaching is important to Dr. J and he has used his training as an educator for the students at MUSOD, MATC and WCTC.  This carries over to how he treats his patients.  His philosophy is aimed at allowing his patients to become their own health advocates.  By integrating them into the treatment plan, then can better understand their needs and follow through with the proper preventive home care.  Any information he can pass on will allow them to maintain and improve their health. While Dr. Jakubowski treats all ages of patients, he provides most of the surgical care for the office.  This allows him to use his psychology training to calm those who may be concerned.  He and his partners offer treatment in most of the areas of dentistry and along with the staff show true respect for their patients.  They consistently care, and it shows.
