Dr. Ivan K Salmons Â
Dr. Salmons established his Sioux City dental practice originally located in the Francis Building downtown Sioux City. He moved his dental practice to its current location at 1855 Indian Hills Drive in Sioux City, Iowa in 1980.
Dr. Salmons was born in Charles City, Iowa and attended the University of Iowa as an undergraduate receiving his Bachelors of Science Degree. He also attended the University of Iowa Dental School earning his Doctor of Dental Science Degree.
After graduation, he entered into military service as a captain and practicing dentist for the Army, stationed in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. Dr. Salmons has grown his practice through education in orthodontics and in new dental innovations. He has invested in the latest dental technology including digital radiography.
Dr. Salmons is involved in the Sioux City Community. He has a passion for historic restoration and volunteers as a board member on the Sioux City Historic …Preservation Commission for the past 6 years. He has also served as president of the Sioux City Dental Society.Â
Dr. Salmons is married with a son and daughter. He is a proud grandfather of two beautiful and talented grandchildren. When not working, he is restoring his 1950 Ford convertible.  Â
