During his training, Dr. Syrop was granted the Resident Scholarship Award and was appointed Fellowship Class President, both high distinctions at the national level by the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine. Dr. Syrop’s research interests include regenerative medicine, musculoskeletal ultrasound and extracorporeal shockwave therapy. He lectures to audiences at both the local and national level and is an author of multiple journal articles, book chapters, newsletters, and academic blogs. His philosophy on being a physician is simple: take care of patients the same way that he would want to be taken care of. With a focus on developing a patient-physician relationship of trust and listening carefully to what is important to the patient, he is able to tailor each treatment plan to the individual and offer them the time that they need and deserve at each visit. Dr. Syrop believes that knowledge empowers and makes it his goal to educate each patient about their condition, treatment options, and lifestyle changes for greater musculoskeletal health and well-being.

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
