Dr. Irina Babayan

DR. IRINA BABAYAN            After graduating from Portland High School (Portland, ME), Dr. Irina Babayan attended Bates College (Lewiston, Maine) where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Babayan received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry (New York, NY) and following her graduation from dental school pursued General Practice Residency training to enhance her dental education at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Bronx, NY).              Her training in New York broadened her academic, clinical and diagnostic skills well beyond conventional dental school education. Dr. Babayan received extensive experience treating medically compromised and special patients while living in New York City. She learned firsthand how to assess and treat dental and facial trauma emergencies. Dr. Babayan has gained advanced comprehensive clinical experience in the multiple disciplines of dentistry at the post-doctoral level while practicing in one of the world’s largest cities.              She believes strongly in continuing education to better serve her patients and is committed to staying abreast of the newest techniques used in modern dentistry.  Her memberships to professional organizations include American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Babayan is dedicated to bringing an exceptional level of dental care to her community. “I love being a dentist.
