"I spent over 30 minutes after my appointment time had already started listening to this man discussed his duplicate Netflix charges with a colleague instead of starting my appointment. He then interrupted my appointment for another ten minutes to go discuss it more. That was enough to tick me off. He then suggested that the intense symptom I’ve been having that started exactly when my serious injury occurred was just a coincidence and a vitamin deficiency. I felt unheard and brushed off. It’s not a coincidence. Lastly when I first walked in I heard this man say “well if she doesn’t remember the fall then she can’t have ptsd.” WHICH IS SO INCORRECT. Listen it’s unfortunate if you’re not trauma informed but that’s unfortunately common. What’s not okay is to give medical advice on a topic you are uninformed about and he is certainly uninformed about a lot. NEVER RETURNING AND TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. "

"Paid hack. Before being sent to him by my car insurance trying to not cover my medical bills, I had had 3 neck surgeries and spinal cord damage. All well documented, and 2 previous accidents years ago. I have a team of specialists from Penn and Jeff for my neuro issues. Yet his exam found nothing wrong. I have had enough neuro exams to know he wasn't doing one right. The one where they quickly go through the resist my hand and press in different directions in different spots (I get that multiple times a year) he barely touched me making it super weird, just faking the motions. Oh did I mention he missed stuff in the records, and made stuff up, like saying I missed a few appointments when he misread something (like a reschedule) in a 3" stack of med records? And I was sick and missed PT, but I went for 2 years. He actually would hold being sick and missing one PT visit against a person, like that means they are fine? He will do anything to keep your insurance company from letting you ...
use your insurance to pay for medical treatments or surgery. Not sure if he actually treats anyone, but if you are looking for a caring neurologist, keep looking. If you are forced to go see him, take your lawyer. Won't change his approach, but you will have a witness. "

"My experience rates him at zero stars. He is a real danger to neurology patients. Drs take an oath to do no harm. Mr I. Howard Levin must have missed the gravity of that sacred oath he was required to take. He is paid and motivated/incentivized by auto insurers to craft “medical” reports saving the auto insurers from paying for medical care on a pip policy (a policy we pay dearly for over our entire lives just in case we are seriously injured in a car crash). When auto insurers have one dedicated “neurologist” doing their IME’s (independent medical exam paid for by insurer), ask yourself why. Money! He saves them dollars to the serious detriment of victim/patient’s health and welfare. He is a very real and dangerous threat to anyone hoping to recover with legitimate medical treatment from a TBI (traumatic brain injury). He deserves to be the victim of one of his bogus “reports” and denied rehab from a TBI himself. Only then could he experience the impact of his damaging gig job. No ...
need to take my word for it—ask professionals both in and outside the field about him. His reputation will tell you all you need to know. If you’re a patient advocate, you should do your research to seek a reputable, credible and professional Dr who is not a sell out to auto insurers. Any brain injured person deserves at least that much. "
