"His support staff is top notch, but his bedside manner, communication, and accessibility could use improvement. Thankfully the procedure was performed without complications so at least that was one less thing to worry about. He was experienced and knew what he was doing regarding the technical aspects of the procedure. I was surprised that there was no initial visit with him prior to the procedure, I think it would have made things clearer regarding the details of the procedure and would have ensured a smoother process overall. Doctors seem to forget that patients are not the ones that went to medical school. It seemed like, at least towards me, he was avoidant as a provider (still unsure of the reason but patient stereotyping does not need a reason) which is fine but then I am not sure why he didn’t just send the case over to someone else or another colleague or just not take the case at all? No sense in taking on a patient you are apathetic about or have a lot of contempt or dislike ...
for unless there is some enjoyment in being cruel or cold towards a patient. "
