Dr. Hesed N. Mugaisi, MD

Dr. Hesed Mugaisi is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides a holistic approach to medical care. He acquired his bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery from the University of Nairobi in Nairobi, Kenya and completed his family medicine residency at Group Health Family Medicine Residency Program affiliated with University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Prior to joining Bon Secours, Dr. Mugaisi worked in a variety of health care settings, including practicing as a family medicine physician, an emergency department physician, and as an urgent care physician. Additionally, he has managed clinics and instructed medical students, residents, nurses and other health care workers. Dr. Mugaisi was awarded the recognition of doctor of the year in 2000 for Avenue Healthcare. He is a member of the American Association of Family Practitioners, American Medical Association and the Kenya Medical Association. Along with English, Dr. Mugaisi is fluent in Swahili.
