Dr. Henry Lewis, MD

Wanting to offer a convenient service to women in Rangely, Dr. Lewis conducts regular clinics in Rangely to provide pre-natal care and gynecological consultations. This clinic allows women to receive OB/GYN care without leaving the community. Dr. Lewis earned his medical degree in 1981 from Howard University in Washington DC. After completing a residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology in Ohio, Dr. Lewis practiced as an OB/GYN physician for 14 years in North Carolina. He moved to Vernal in 2009 looking for the better lifestyle that is available in the Intermountain West. Dr. Lewis enjoys classical music, theatre, chess, and spending weekends in his RV. He provides obstetrical care to mothers as well as the full range of gynecological services. Dr. Lewis is joined in his practice by his wife, Lisa, a Certified Nurse Midwife who also delivers babies, and provides preventative care for well women.
