Dr. Davidson grew up in Connecticut and fell in love with the Finger Lakes while attending Hobart College in Geneva. After Hobart, he graduated from Dental School at New York University and then spent an extra year as a Resident at Strong Memorial Hospital of the University of Rochester. He spent 15 years actively teaching in the Graduate Dental Program at Strong Memorial. He has been president of the Cayuga County Dental Society and the Greater Rochester District of the New York State Dental Association. In 2000 he received this districts highest honor, the George Greenwood Award. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists. He has represented dentistry in various roles both in Albany at the state level and nationally. Locally, Dr. Davidson has served the community in many roles including president of the Board of Directors of the YMCA, school board member for 15 years and past president of the Union Springs School Board, coach of numerous youth sports teams and many years on the organizing committee of The Great Race. He was honored recently to receive the Auburn YMCA's Member of the Year.
