"It took me a while to finally write this as I was so upset. Dr Kang was good with me for almost a year of seeing her, she was even comfortable enough to share some personal stuff so yes I thought she was a good doctor. Her approach with almost all her patients is weight loss and no meat so expect that. I followed through with what she said since she is a doctor. Everything changed when she suspected I either had IBC or IGM(a rare disease, no treatment, no cure) they’re usually misdiagnosed as one another so I was freaking out. Well after telling me that I never returned to her office again. Not because I didn’t want to but she made it clear she did not want me back and kept telling me to wait even though I needed a biopsy. Her attitude completely changed and she became rude and went as far as blocking my number because she didn’t want to treat me since I had become a complicated patient by having a rare disease. I’m aware I’m not the only one she’s blocked, she does it often. I cried, ...I was appalled by her behavior. NEVER have I seen a doctor behave like that. She has some good reviews and I’m sure she has helped many but after seeing her temper, the way she talks to staff and what I went through I have nothing good to say about this woman. I was going to report her, got all the info to do so but I have so much stress with my disease and am in constant pain. She’s not worth it and I strongly believe someone else will end up doing it. Thankfully my primary doctor saw how she was acting and made arrangements for a biopsy and yes I have IGM. My advice, stay clear of this person because if you suspect IBC she will probably consider IGM too and she will not do her job and cut you out. Overall, not professional or decent person at all. Extremely disappointed, she should not be practicing for treating patients she doesn’t want like this. Doctors don’t pick and choose patients, they should treat everyone the same and provide help for those who seek it. Never disrespected her at all and she turned her back on me.
